What is clearing?

Clearing runs from July and helps students who have not met the conditions of their offers, or who have applied late, to find courses where there are still places available. It is an opportunity to apply for subjects that might be different from your original choices or universities you might not have previously considered.

UCAS Guidance

If we provisionally offer you a place in Clearing, then you will be given a date by which you must enter the course details in Track. If you want to be formally considered, you need to click on the 'Add Clearing choice' button in Track and enter the institution and course details. You can only enter details for one choice. You should only enter us as a Clearing choice if we have provisionally offered you a place on one of our courses and you want to accept it. If you enter the Edge Hotel School as a Clearing choice without discussing it with us, then this may delay the progress of your application.

The UCAS site has information on Clearing and details of how you can apply for course vacancies.

Can I apply through adjustment?

The Edge Hotel School will consider applicants in Adjustment. Students who accept places in Adjustment will be able to apply for campus accommodation (subject to availability) and are entitled to apply for scholarships within the given deadlines.

Please note that we send decisions to UCAS once a day over the confirmation period. At these times the data held in UCAS Track will be updated for you to check your application status. We suggest that, if possible, you check UCAS Track in the first instance before contacting us.
